Churchill Thursday

For the start of the Horse Racing weekend, we look at a race at beautiful Churchill Downs.

Churchill Downs Race 8 {1 1/16 mile~Turf~3 year old~fillies~Allowance}
Unfortunately this one has already been moved off the Turf.  What would have been a terrific field has been reduced to eight runners.  All the remaining gals are of equal talent and have a variety of running styles.  Should be a good race nonetheless.

#2 Artemus Kitten (Leparoux / Maker) seems to have a slight edge with the third highest (tie) last out speed number, a win at this distance, a two race progression, and two stout workouts.  She should be motoring on the frontend looking to wire the field.
$2 SHOW.

#10 Sola Gratia (Castanon / Romans) will challenge with the highest last out speed number, a five race progression, and three strong workouts.  She will try to close down this field.
$2 SHOW.

#15 Lady Aspen (Cruz / McPeek) will also challenge sharing the third highest last out speed number, a two race progression, and three superb workouts.  She will also be closing swiftly.
$2 SHOW.

Another Wagering Interest

#3 Eye Candy Annie (Desormeaux / Dyer) looks ready to move up to this distance in grand fashion with the second highest last out speed number at a sprint and one robust workout.  Will be one to watch.

10 CENT Superfecta

#2 Artemus Kitten / #10 Sola Gratia / #15 Lady Aspen / #3 Eye Candy Annie.
