Weekend in Maryland

There is something quite alluring about the fields of green in both Maryland and its neighbor, Virginia.  Today's Black Eyed Susan undercard looks great with a multitude of Turf sprints.  Tomorrow's Preakness undercard looks magnificent with a number of Turf routes.  It should be a great Pimlico weekend!!

Today we look at the Black Eyed Susan which promises to be an exciting race.

Pimlico Race 10 {Black Eyed Susan~G2~1 1/8 mile~3 year old~fillies~Stakes}
A small, but talented field of six will make their start in this annual affair.  Not much speed is entered in this one making it any fillies race.

#1 Royal Delta (Lezcano / Mott) has a slight edge with the highest last out speed number, a two race progression, and three vigorous, peaking workouts.  She should be close, ready to close.
$2 SHOW.

#2 Hot Summer (Dominguez / Fawkes) will challenge with the second highest last out speed number, a two race progression, and four fabulous, peaking workouts.  She should track the pace ready to pounce.
$2 SHOW.

#6 Love Theway Youare (Rosario / Cho) may well surprise this field with a steady three race progression, the third highest (tie) last out speed number, and one solid workout.  She could close swiftly for the victory.
$2 SHOW.

Another Wagering Interest

#4 Wyomia (Leparoux / Garrison)  will be in the mix also with the third highest last out speed number, a three race progression, and three good workouts.
