On to Belmont

Another Kentucky Derby is in the record books in an absolutely grand fashion.  Today we look at a nice Turf sprint at Belmont to close out a fabulous horse racing weekend.

Belmont Park Race 8 {7 furlongs~Turf~3 year old Up~fillies/mares~NY~Allowance}
A great field of ten gals will make the start on this Mother's Day.  All have relatively comparable speed numbers.  The race comes up short on speed, but includes a number of forwardly placed types.  Should be a fun race to watch.

#8 Lady's Lunar Luck (Castro / Conway) looks ready coming off a three month layoff with the highest speed number at the distance and three superb workouts.  She should race well.
$2 SHOW.

#4 Zellweger (Castellano / C. Brown) is another coming off a layoff, but has already won at this distance with the fourth highest (tie) speed number.  She has worked well prepping for this race with three solid workouts.  Will be near the front end heading for home.
$2 SHOW.

#7 Sound's Familiar (A. Garcia / Hess) looks primed for victory and should challenge in the stretch.  She has posted the highest last out speed number, has a two race progression, and one quality workout.  If she gets some pace to run at, she could win.
$2 SHOW.

NO 10 CENT Superfecta offered in this race.
