A nicely balanced group of eight will make their start in this race.  It should have some speed and a smart group of closers.  Should be a good one.

#3 Fusa Code (Napravnik / Asmussen) appears ready to step out for a great race.  He holds the third highest speed number over the surface, is coming off a longer sprint and has two solid workouts.

#5 Ruse (Theriot / Stidham) should challenge with the second highest last out speed number, a three race progression, and one superb workout.  He should close well.

#8 Tater Downs (Albarado / Hubley) will be making his second career start after a layoff.  He has the highest last out speed number and has put in three robust, peaking workouts.  This guy will battle on the front end.
