Keeneland Turf Friday

We enter Friday seeking to witness a glorious Turf race.

Keeneland Race 7 {Pin Oak Valley View~G3~1 1/16 mile~TURF~3 year old~fillies~Stakes}
Another closely matched field of twelve will assemble for this annual contest.  These gals have speed.  The field appears to be evenly divided between the forwardly placed and those coming from off the pace.  Not a single filly has a superior edge.  Any one of them could find their way to the winners circle.

#9 Miss Cato [GB] (Saez / Attfield) has a tiny edge sharing the second highest (4-way tie) last out speed number at longer Turf route, a three race progression, and three superb, peaking workouts.  This gal could track the pacesetters and swoop into the stretch.
$1 WIN / $1 SHOW.

#1 Closing Range (Court / Oliver) will challenge with the third highest (tie) last out speed number at a longer Turf route, a two race progression, and four excellent, peaking workouts.  She should show some pressing speed to great advantage.
$1 PLACE / $1 SHOW.

#10 Cosmic Energy (Castellano / Hills) should also be in the battle for the win sharing the second highest last out speed number at this distance, holding a four race progression, and putting in two hearty workouts.  She is another that could show a speedy pressing attack.
$1 SHOW.

Other Wagering Interests

#5 Medolina (Napravnik / Pletcher) should be in the hunt sharing the third highest last out speed number and putting in two stout workouts.  She has the highest speed number at this distance.  Another that should be forwardly placed ready to strike.

#11 Run a Risk (P. Lopez / Arnold) should be in the mix with the highest last out speed number, a three race progression, and three robust peaking workouts.  This gal has the tactical speed to stay close and fire well in the stretch.

10 CENT Superfecta

#9 Miss Cato [GB] / #1 Closing Range / #10 Cosmic Energy / #5 Medolina, #11 Run a Risk.
