To the TURF at Belmont

On a fantastic Friday we go to the TURF.

Belmont Park Race 7 {Rob N Gin~7 furlongs~TURF~3 year old Up~Stakes}
An interesting group of eight will make there way onto the Turf.  Another five are standing by should the race come off the Turf.  Hopefully it remains on the Turf.  The weather forcast is for cloudy skies, but little percipitation.  The field is well balanced among the running styles.

#7 Upgrade (Maragh / Nihei) has a slight edge with the highest speed number at this distance, the fourth highest last out speed number, a two race progression, and two athletic workouts.  He should be able to press the pace and move in for the score.
$1 WIN / $1 SHOW.

#8 Yield Bogey (Prado / Kelly) will challenge with the second highest (3-way tie) last out speed number at a route, a two race progression, and four fierce workouts.  He should show speed which will be of great benefit in this field.
$1 PLACE / $1 SHOW.

#3 Beau Choix (Rosario / Tagg) should contend sharing the second highest last out speed number at a route and four powerful workouts.  He could track and close into an honest pace.
$1 SHOW.

Another Wagering Interest

#6 Awakino Cat (C. Velasquez / Rice) is the veteran of this group and should be in the mix.  He shares the second highest last out speed number, holds a four race progression, and has put in one solid workout.  He could close into a fluid pace for a piece of the purse pie.
