Superfecta Sunday at Belmont

Can you believe it is Superfecta Sunday already??  The Preakness is less than a week away and the Belmont Stakes is not far on the horizon.  Soon it will be a great horse racing summer.  Today we look at a tremendous sprint race at Belmont.

Belmont Park Race 6 {7 furlongs~4 year old Up~Optional Claimer}
A terrific field of eight high caliber horses have entered this race.  There is enough speedy types in here to make it a trackers dream race.  It will be a very good race, but a little difficult to sew together a winning 10 CENT Superfecta box ticket.  Let's give it a whirl.

#7 Big Business (C. Velasquez / Jacobson) appears ready to triumph with the second highest (tie) last out speed number, a three race progression, and two sharp peaking workouts.  He could be in the best position to take advantage of a hot pace. The big guy will be our Bronze Horseshoe runner.
$2 SHOW.

#6 Private Tale (Castellano / Trombetta) will challenge utilizing his tracking/closing ability.  He holds the highest last out speed number prior to a layoff, a two race progression, and has put in three stellar peaking workouts.  A favorable 66% in the money record at the distance supports his effort.

#4 Saginaw (Alvarado / Jacobson) should be the odds-on favorite with the highest speed at the distance, the fourth highest last out speed number prior to a reasonable freshening, and five superb peaking workouts.  He will share speed duties and should he control the pace will be hard to catch.

#8 Hillswick (Rosario / Rodriguez) can be in the mix with a strong speed number two starts back and two robust workouts.  He loves the Belmont track holding the second highest speed number and an 84% in the money record over six starts.  This guy will be part of the forwardly placed crowd.

10 CENT Superfecta box ($2.40)

#7 Big Business  +  #6 Private Tale  +  #4 Saginaw  +  #8 Hillswick.
