TURF Stakes Saturday

We are going green on this Stakes Saturday, taking in a smashing Turf race at bountiful Belmont.

Belmont Park Race 8 {Sheepshead Bay~G2~1 3/8~TURF~3 year old Up~fillies/mares~Stakes}
An intriguing and extremely competitive field of eight will make their way onto the green in this annual contest.  The race comes up a little short on speed offering the opportunity to a couple in here to roll into the winners circle.  All in here are moving up in class from their last out race and many are embarking headstrong into their TURF season.  It will be a very high caliber race.

#2 Julie's Love [GB] (Castellano / Motion) should be forwardly placed attempting to run off with the race.  She holds the fourth highest last out speed number, a two race progression, and one swell workout.  This gal is 75% in the money over the Turf in twenty races.  She has also notched two wins over the Belmont Turf.
$1 WIN / $2 PLACE / $3 SHOW.

#5 Hessonite (Alvarado / Donk) will challenge from the back pack of runners.  She shares the highest last out speed number, is working a three race progression, and has put in two fierce workouts.  This gal loves the Belmont Turf holding a 78% in the money record over it. She appears primed for a great run.
$1 PLACE / $2 SHOW.

#4 Anjaz (I. Ortiz / Albertrani) could surprise with a decent last out speed number at a longer Turf route and two superb workouts.  She is coming off a freshening.  Two starts back she snagged a win at this distance, albeit over synthetic racing in Great Britain.  This daughter of the great Street Cry, will be making her second North American start with flourish.
$1 SHOW.

Other Wagering Interests

#6 Strathnaver [GB] (Rosario / Motion) will challenge sharing the highest last out speed number at a longer route.  She is working a three race progression and has put in one hearty workout.  This gal should be right in the quickening group as they head for the stretch.

#7 Mystical Star (Lezcano / Clement) should also contend with a couple of decent last out speed numbers and one diligent workout.  She has already gone this distance scoring the highest speed number among the group.  One of three making their third start in the form cycle.

10 CENT Superfecta

#2 Julie's Love [GB] / #5 Hessonite / #4 Anjaz / #6 Strathnaver [GB], #7 Mystical Star.
