Stakes Saturday at Delaware

On this wonderful Stakes Saturday we take in a nice Turf route at Delaware Park.

Delaware Park Race 7 {Kent~G3~1 1/8 mile~3 year old~Stakes}
A truly equal group of eight will take to the TURF in this graded stakes race.  The field is coming in from all over the finest tracks along the East Coast.  All have comparable speed numbers over the surface and distance.  Any one of these guys could be victorious.  It should be a very exciting race.

#2 Are You Kidding Me (Maragh / Attfield) looks ready with the fourth highest (3-way tie) last out speed number and four superlative workouts.  He shares the second highest speed number with three others.  Expect him to run very close to the pace seeking to launch a strong drive in the stretch.
$2 WIN / $3 SHOW.

#8 Saint Vigeur (A. Castellano / C. Brown) will challenge with the second highest last out speed number prior to a two month freshening and four solid workouts.  This guy should also be close to the pace.  He has been in the money in all but one of his seven career starts.
$2 PLACE / $2 SHOW.

#1 Majestic Jess [IRE] (McCarthy / Saville) could surprise with the highest last out speed number, a two race progression, and one hearty workout.  Expect this one to track the pace and move quickly through the turn and into the stretch.
$2 SHOW.

Other Wagering Interests

#3 Michael With Us (Saez / D'Mauro) should contend sharing the fourth highest last out speed number and putting in two athletic workouts.  This lad also shares the second highest speed number at the distance.  Should the pace heat up he will use his closing capability to great advantage.

#7 Hard Enough (Centeno / Dibona) will have an impact as the probable front runner sharing the fourth highest last out speed number and two hearty peaking workouts.  He is the only one in the field who has notched a win at this distance.
