Stakes Saturday in Pennsylvania

A very nice card pops out at Parx.  Today we look at a very contentious grade one race for three year-old fillies.

Parx Race 10 {Cotillion~G1~1 1/16 mile~3 year old~fillies~Stakes}
A fantastic field of ten will line up for this annual graded stakes race.  There is plenty of speed and forwardly placed types to keep a scintillating pace.  Most in here have closely aligned speed numbers which will make a tough race to call.  All are coming out of strong races at some of North America's best tracks.  It should one of the best races during this month of September.

#5 Seaneen Girl (Lopez / Flint) looks ready to dual with this group. She comes into the race with the highest last out speed number, a two race progression, and two sharp peaking workouts.  This daughter of Spring At Last should be forwardly placed ready to make her move.
$2 SHOW.

#9 Close Hatches (Smith / Mott) will challenge with the third highest last out speed number, a three race progression, and four sensational peaking workouts.  She is ready to put her speed to the test.  This gal is the daughter of First Defence and has notched two victories at this distance in two races.
$2 SHOW.

#2 Carnival Court (Saez / McLaughlin) should also challenge this group from the front end.  She holds the second highest last out speed number at a longer route, a two race progression, and three hearty workouts. She is a daughter of the great Street Sense and cherishes a dirt surface.

Other Wagering Interests

#6 My Happy Face (Castellano / C. Brown) should battle valiantly with a couple of good last out speed numbers and two diligent workouts.  She has the tactical speed to stay in from the start.  Over the dirt surface she is 100% in the money from six starts.  Certainly a contender.

#10 Street Girl (Costillo / Azpurua) could be in the mix with a couple of decent last out speed numbers, a four race progression, and three robust workouts.  She is the daughter of Street Hero and will be tracking and closing fiercely.
