Friday Racing in Sunny Florida

We turn to Florida for sun, fun, and horse racing.

Gulfstream Park Race 7 {6 1/2 furlongs~2 year old~fillies~Maiden Special Weight}
A wonderfully bred field of nine will take to the course in this feature race for the young fillies.  Not much to go on in terms of speed as more than half the field are first time starters.  Talent abounds and any one of these gals could pull off the victory.  It should be a fantastic race on a beautiful 82 degree partly cloudy day in magnificent Florida.

#2 AP Tigress (P. Lopez / Benning) appears to have a slight edge with the highest last out speed number, a two race progression, and one peaking workout.  She will be making her third start all the while stretching out a little more.  With proper pace she could track and close well.
$1 SHOW.

#3 Money Game (Leyva / R. Garcia) should challenge with the second highest last out speed number, a two race progression, and one solid workout.  She will also be stretching out a bit.  She too will need a strong pace.
$1 SHOW.

#4 Spring Blossom (Rosario / Pletcher) looks like the absolute best among the first time starters with a strong pedigree and stronger connections.  She could win at first asking with four superb workouts.  Definitely one to watch.
$1 SHOW.

Other Wagering Interests

#6 Shogun Samurai (Bravo / Breen) is another first time starter wonderfully bred.  She has put in three stout, peaking workouts prepping for her first race.  Connections are among the best.

#7 Lucky for You (Castellano / Pletcher) should contend with four robust workers as she also makes her first start. This gal has sensational connections from ownership to jockey.  She is certainly another that could win at first asking.

10 CENT Superfecta

#2 AP Tigress, #3 Money Game  /  #2, #3  /  #4 Spring Blossom, #6 Shogun Samurai / #4, #6, #7 Lucky for You.
