Thursday, Turfday in Hollywood

To begin our horse racing weekend we take a look at a nice Turf contest in Hollywood.

Betfair Hollywood Park Race 7 {1 1/16 mile~TURF~3 year old Up~fillies/mares~Allowance}
A good group of eight gals will line up for this allowance feature.  There is plenty of speed in this one to keep the pace churning. All in here are nearly equal in their speed numbers over the surface.  It should be a spectacular race.

#4 Ricspretentiousgal (Pedroza / Sadler) might have a slight edge with the third highest (tie) last out speed number, a two race progression, and three strong workouts.  She can be expected to be forwardly placed attempting to control the pace. This gal shows the best speed number and best record at the distance.
$2 SHOW.

#6 Fanticola (Talamo / Mitchell) should challenge with the fourth highest last out speed number, a two race progression, and four solid workouts.  She is 100% in the money in five starts.  This gal has some versatility in her running style which should suit her in this race.
$2 SHOW.

Other Racing Interests

#2 Indecise (Smith / Mandella) is coming off an extended lay off and hasn't raced since January of this year.  By virtue of that last start she holds the highest last out speed number and was working a four race progression.  This lovely gal has put in three stamina producing workouts preparing for this one.  She could pull of the victory, particularly if the pace boils over.

#8 Miss Well Molded (Maldonado / O'Neill) will contend with the second highest last out speed number, a four race progression, and two diligent workouts.  She holds tactical speed that should be used to great benefit.

10 CENT Superfecta

#4 Ricspretentiousgal  /  #6 Fanticola  /  #2 Indecise  / #8 Miss Well Molded.
