Stakes Saturday on the Turf

We enjoy a thrilling Stakes Saturday on Turf from Wilmington, Delaware.

Delaware Park Race 9 {Robert G. Dick Memorial Stakes~1 3/8 mile~TURF~3 year-old Up~fillies/mares~Stakes}

A reduced field of nine will hit the grass in this annual affair.  There is a smattering of speed which could allow those forwardly placed types a bit of advantage. All of these ladies have fairly robust speed numbers making for a highly competitive event. It should be one of the better Turf classics on this Stakes Saturday.

#1 Kittens Point (Prado / Motion) should be able to handle this field if the pace kicks into high gear. She holds the highest last out speed number at a longer Turf route, a two race progression, and four excellent peaking workouts. This daughter of Kittens Joy should be able to handle this distance and kick in capably.
$1 WIN  /  $2 PLACE  /  $3 SHOW.

#10 Courtesean (Rosario / C. Brown) should challenge with the third highest (tie) last out speed number at a longer Turf route and three solid works. She holds a victory at this distance earning her the highest (tie) speed number of the group. A daughter of the great Street Sense, she should take up a credible tracking position ready to vault towards the front.
$1 PLACE  /  $2 SHOW.

#6 Ceistech [IRE] (Hill / Proctor) had shown speed in her last and with few speedsters in this race, she could carry the day. She comes into this with the fourth highest last out speed number, a two race progression, and three bullets workouts. This daughter of New Approach [IRE] has the highest overall in the money record of 75% from eight starts.
$1 SHOW.

Another Wagering Interest

#3 Striking Style (Cintron / Matz) should be forwardly placed which should aid her cause. This gal holds a couple of very good last out speed numbers and two successful workouts. She has the second best overall in the money record at 72%. This daughter of Smart Strike will be stretching out a furlong for this race.
