Superfecta Sunday on the Jersey Shore

Off we go to the Jersey shore for a great graded stakes race.

Monmouth Park Race 10 {Pegasus~G3~1 1/16 mile~3 year-old~Graded Stakes}

A bold group of seven will go to the gate in this annual event. There are five Triple Crown nominees ready to go. Plenty of speed may make for a scintillating pace. Speed numbers are fairly close. It should be a excellent race. Our task is to weave together a winning 10 CENT Superfecta box ticket.

#4 Unified (J. Ortiz / Jerkens) is the horse to beat. He holds the second highest last out speed number and four superlative peaking workouts. This guy should be forwardly placed waiting to cut out from the leaders. Not much value can be expected as he is likely to go off at even odds.

#7 Abiding Star (Acosta / Allard) should be able to get back at it after a disappointing performance in the Preakness. He holds the highest speed number at the distance and two stout workouts. He should be involved deeply in the pace scenario. A nice improvement should be expected. He is our Bronze Horseshoe selection.
$2 SHOW.

#6 Donegal Moon (Bravo / Pletcher) should contend especially with a hot pace. This guy holds the third highest last out speed number, a two race progression, and two sound workouts. He should travel comfortably close to the pace ready to strike.

#2 Extinct Charm (D. Davis / B. Brown) could surprise with a couple of very good last out speed figs, a three race progression, and one strong workout. This lad will benefit greatly from a sizzling pace. He does hold two victories from four tries at this distance.

10 CENT Superfecta Box ($2.40)

#4 Unified  /  #7 Abiding Star  /  #6 Donegal Moon  /  #2 Extinct Charm.
