Woodbine Race 8 {King Edward~G2~1 mile~TURF~3 year-old Up~Graded Stakes}
A marvelous group of nine turfers will go to the Canadian green in this feature race. Speed numbers are very close giving the race a highly competitive feel to it. There is plenty of speed to create a strong pace. A few are shipping in to test the Woodbine turf. It should be one of the best races of the day.
#6 Solemn Tribute [ONT] (Wilson / Lynch) is coming into this one off a modest layoff. He holds the third highest (tie) last out speed number at a longer route and four superb peaking workouts. This gelded son of Medaglia d'Oro loves the Woodbine Turf as evidenced by his 100% in the money record from three starts. He should be forwardly placed ready to strike.

#2 Full Mast (DeCarlo / Mott) should challenge with the highest last out speed number, a two race progression, and one peaking workout. This will be his second North American start after racing in France. A son of Mizzen Mast, he should track the pace closely making a move heading into the stretch.

#3 Smokem Kitten (A. Garcia / Maker) will contend with the second highest last out speed number, a four race progression, and three top notch workouts. He could be the one to beat as he embarks on his third win in a row. A son of Kitten's Joy, he should be forwardly placed ready to romp.

#8 Dimension [GB] (Moran / Murphy) could be in the mix as he shows the fourth highest (tie) last out speed number posting a victory, a two race progression, and two hearty workouts. He has been lightly raced in the past year, but appears to be rounding into form. A son of Medicean [GB], he should be tracking the pace ready to roll into the stretch.
