Horse Racing Weekend begins on the Poly

With lots of hoops action going on as the madness begins. We are back at our horse racing weekend as we take the turn into Spring. Today we take a look at a healthy spring over the Polytrack.

Turfway Park Race 8 {6 Furlongs~3 year-old Up~Fillies / Mares~Allowance}

A good group of eight will go to the gate in this challenging sprint. There is enough speed to keep a steady pace. Speed numbers are fairly close giving this contest a competitive feel. It should be a terrific race.

#9 Love the Power [FR] (Ouzts / Nocero) is coming off a maiden victory with the second highest last out speed number among this group. She shows improvement over her first race and looks to make another improvement while stretching out 110 yards. She has put in a solid workout. Look for her to be close to the pace and make a getaway in the stretch.
$2 WIN  /  $3 SHOW.

Other Wagering Interests

#6 Sweet Ruth E. (Jimenez / Thomas) might go off as the favorite with the highest last out speed number, a two race progression, and one stout workout. She should be leader and has the capability to wire this field. This gal loves the surface, distance and track making her the one to beat.

#5 In the Shoes (Cordenas / Taylor) will contend with the third highest (tie) last out speed number. This gal is 100% in the money at the distance and over the Turfway polytrack. Look for her to be forwardly placed ready to strike.

#4 Miss Coco (Gilligan / Sims) should challenge as she makes the surface switch from dirt to synthetic. This gal shares the fourth highest last out speed number. Coming in off a modest layoff her connections do exceptionally well when changing things up.
