Stakes Saturday Rebel Yell

On this Stakes Saturday we take a look at another Kentucky Derby prep race down in Arkansas.

Oaklawn Park Race 10 {Rebel~G2~1 1/16 mile~3 year-old~Graded Stakes}

A great crop of eleven will go to this gate in this annual event. there is a whole bunch of speed in this one making a swift pace inevitable. Speed numbers are fairly close creating a highly competitive race. All in this one are nominated to the Triple Crown. Off the pace runners might have the edge. It should be another superb race down in Hot Springs.

#11 Lookin At Lee (Santana / Asmussen) might have the edge with the speedsters all battling on the front end. He has raced well in his last two working a seven race progression and has put in two solid peaking workouts. A son of Lookin At Lucky, he relishes the distance and the track.
$2 WIN  /  $3 SHOW.

#7 American Anthem (Smith / Baffert) should go off as the deserved favorite with the third highest (tie) last out speed number, a two race progression, and three sensational workouts. This guy will need to sit right off the speed to strike in the stretch. A son of Bodemeister, he comes in from California rested and ready.
$2 SHOW.

#4 Petrov (J. Ortiz / Moquett) should challenge with the highest last out speed number, a four race progression, and two hearty peaking workouts. He loves the Oaklawn Park track and distance. This son of Flatter, is 100% in the money from four career starts. Look for him to track close to the pace.
$2 SHOW.

Another Wagering Interest

#6 Malagacy (Castellano / Pletcher) will be stretching out from a sprint in his last where he scored the second highest last out speed number. This lad is shooting for his third win in a row and has put in three terrific workouts heading into this race. A son of Shakleford he should be part of the speed up front.
