Superfecta Sunday at Saratoga

As summer quietly nears its unofficial end, we take in a Turf sprint up at the "Spa".

Saratoga Race 6 {5 1/2 furlongs~TURF~3 year-old Up~NY~Allowance}

From a pedigree perspective this is one of the nicest fields for a New York bred Allowance race. Ten will hit the Saratoga green in what should be a very exciting race. There is an excellent amount of speed to take these lads around the course swiftly. Speed numbers are fairly close which guarantees a competitive event. Our task is to string together a winning 10 CENT Superfecta box ticket.

#6 Source Control (I. Ortiz / R. Rodriguez) should have the speed to run into. He holds the third highest (tie) last out speed number and two sound workouts. This guy will be making a short cut-back and is 77% in the money over Turf. A son of Sidney's Candy, could run them all down in the closing stages.

#7 We Should Talk (Santana / De Paz) is coming off a lengthy layoff, but has put in a seriously strong workout tab of five significant works. He will be making the switch from the dirt to the Turf in this his fourth career start. This gelded son of Gemologist, is another that should benefit from a fast pace. He is our Bronze Horseshoe selection.
$1 SHOW.

#3 Vistal (J. Ortiz / Colebrook) could go off as one of the favorites with the highest speed number over the Turf and distance. He holds a couple of decent last out speed numbers. This son of Tapizar should be forwardly placed ready for battle near the front end.

#9 Not So Quiet Man (Castellano / Ryan) should challenge with the highest last out speed number and two quality peaking workouts. This lad has the best in the money performance at this distance (55%0 of this group. A son of Freud, he should be forwardly placed ready to strike going into the stretch.
