Another New Yorky Superfecta Sunday

On this Superfecta Sunday, we take a look at a wonderful Turf Sprint in upstate New York.

Saratoga R9 {Smart N Fancy~5 1/2 furlongs~TURF~3 year-old Up~Fillies/Mares~Stakes}

A great group of twelve Turf sprinters will take to the beautifully maintained Saratoga course.  There is so much speed in this one that it has a chance to really boil over giving those coming from off the pace the edge. Speed numbers are fairly close. Our task is to sew together a winning 10 CENT Superfecta box ticket.

#12 Epping Forest (Rosario / Clement) should get enough pace to chart a third win in a row. She holds the highest last out speed number, a three race progression, and two wholesome workouts. This daughter of Exchange Rate is 72% in the money from eleven career starts.
She is our Bronze horseshoe selection.

#5 Tillies Lily (Castellano / Thomas) could be one of the favs seeking her fifth career win in a row. She holds the third highest last out speed number at a bit longer sprint, a four race progression, and three hearty workouts. A daughter of Distorted Humor, she will be part of the speedy crew on the front end.

#3 Chanteline (Santana / Asmussen) will challenge with the second highest last out speed number, a five race progression, and three superb, peaking workouts. This gal will be forwardly placed seeking to strike in the stretch run. A daughter of Majesticperfection she holds seven career runs and a 70% in the money record from twenty-four career starts.

#1 Battle Joined (Bravo / Hennig) should contend with the fourth highest last out speed number, a four race progression, and two stout workouts. She will be seeking her third win in a row. Another who should be in the forwardly placed battle for position, this daughter of War Front is 50% in the money from six career starts.

Saratoga R6.  NY Allowance.  We missed on the 10 CENT Superfecta box effort, hitting only two of four wagering interests. Superfecta went 7-5-4-6.
Our Bronze Horseshoe runner, We Should Talk, won (1st) for show money of $2.60.
Bankroll sheds a bit to settle at $158.25.
