Homeward Bound for Furlong Friday

 We look at the lucky last at our home track, Arlington International Racecourse, on this Furlong Friday.

Arlington International Race 8 {7 Furlongs~3 year-old Up~Fillies/Mares~Optional Claiming}

A solid field of nine will scurry off onto the Polytrack surface in the last race on the card. There is one speedster and four that are likely to settle near the pace. Speed numbers are very close making this one highly competitive. It should be an excellent race to cap off the race day at magnificent Arlington International.

#8 Darlin Rosie (Emigh / Randazzo) could have the edge with the highest last out speed number and one peaking workout. This gal loves the surface, distance and the Arlington track. She should be forwardly placed ready to spring into the stretch. A daughter of Devil Hunter, she is 69% in the money from forty-two career starts.

$2 WIN  /  $3 SHOW.

#2 Looktheotherway (C. Roman / A. Hernandez) should challenge with the third highest (3-way tie) last out speed number. She has won both of her starts at this very distance. This six year-old mare is another that loves the surface and the Arlington track. She will take up a tracking position looking for some pace. A daughter of Fappies Notebook, she is 57% in the money from thirty-eight career starts.

$2 SHOW.

#4 Isabellacannetella (Edg. Perez / Contreras) should contend sharing the third highest last out speed number and putting in one nice peaking workout. She comes in from Indiana Grande where she faced tougher at a shorter distance. A daughter of Ghaaleb, she is 75% in the money from sixteen career starts. She looks to be the controlling speed.

#7 Fifthatnarraganset (Roberts / Mason) will be in the mix with the second highest (tie) speed number at the distance and two hearty workouts. This filly is yet another that enjoys the surface, distance, and Arlington track. A daughter of Cairo Prince, she will be making her second start over the Arlington Track after hitting the board twice at Lone Star Park.
