Oklahoma Derby Day

 On this Superfecta Sunday we take on another race on the Nation's Derby Docket.

Remington Park Race 10 {Oklahoma DErby~G3~1 1/8 mile~3 year-old~Graded Stakes}

A modest field of eight will go to the gate in this annual event.

Good speed will make the pace an honest one. Speed figs are very close. Only two have raced over the Remington Park track. Five will be stretching out to this distance for the first time. All seem to have been well prepped for the grade three. It should be a fantastic race on a great Oklahoma Derby day card.

#2 EJ Won the Cup (M. Smith / O'Neill) comes in from Fanduel where he earned the highest last out speed number and has put in three fine workouts. This guy will be part of the speed on the front-end. He is one of the few that have covered this distance. A son of Omaha Beach, he is 75% in the money from twelve starts.

#5 Dimatic (S. Elliott / Asmussen) comes in from the West Virginia Derby where he it the board at this distance. He has cobbled together four superb peaking workouts in preparation. Look for him to track the pace and strike in the stretch. A son of Gun Runner, he is 50% in the money from ten starts.

#6 Most Wanted (Geroux / B. Cox) should be part of the speedsters up front. He comes in with the second highest last out speed number and four power workouts. This guy will be seeking his fourth win in a row. A son of Candy Ride [ARG], he holds a 100%-win rate from three starts.

#8 Society Man (Lanerie / Gargan) is the most experienced at this distance having hit the board in three of his four starts. Look for him to be among the tracker crew. Four strong workouts add greatly to his preparation. A son of Good Magic, he is 62% in the money from eight starts.

#3 Canada Gate (Ayuso / J. Sadler) will stretch out to this distance with the fourth highest last out speed number and three superior workouts. He should be forwardly placed. A son of Constitution, he is 60% in the money from five starts.

#1 Indispensable (R. Gutierrez / J. Sadler) comes in from Del Mar with the third highest last out speed number and two hearty workouts. This lad is another tracker seeking to positon himselve for the stretch run. Another son of Constitution, he is 80% in the money from ten starts.
