Finishing on the Turf at Fairgrounds

Ah Sunday, a day for family, spirituality, leisure activity and horse racing.  Today we finish out the horse racing weekend with a Turf race at Fairgrounds.

Fairgrounds Race 8 {1 mile~Turf~3 year old Up~fillies/mares~LA~Allowance}
A full field of twelve frisky fillies and mares will start in this Louisianna allowance feature in the "Big Easy".  Native Holly (Campbell / Heitzman) looks well prepped for victory with the highest speed number at the distance, the second highest speed number last out at a longer distance, a two race progression, and two swift workouts.  Conscions Contact (Clark / Young) will challenge with the highest last out speed number at a longer route, a four race progression, and two robust, peaking workouts.  Tortuga Town (S. Bridgmohan / Asmussen) will be in the hunt for the win with the third highest last out speed number and four fabulous, peaking workouts.  Brilliant And Royal (Martin / Morreale) may surprise with the fourth highest last out speed number and two hearty, peaking workouts.  Let's cap off our weekend at Farigrounds.

Calder Race Course R9. My Charmer.  Our first pick, Miss World, finished 4th.  Our second pick, Askbut I Won't Tell, won (1st) for show money of $4.40.  Superfecta went 10-2-4-6.
Calder Race Course R11. Tropical Turf Hcp.  Our first pick, Rahy's Attorney, finished 2nd for show money of $5.00.  Our second pick, Rahystrada, finished 8th.  Superfecta went 10-12-8-14.
Bankroll gains a few cents to $9.00.
