Seeking Warmth at Calder and Hollywood

Another incredible Stakes Saturday.  Today we look at two great races.  A classic turf contest at Calder Race Course and a route race for two year olds at Hollywood Park.

Calder Race Course Race 11 {W.L. McKnight~G2~1 1/2 mile~Turf~3 year old Up~Stakes}
A great field of ten older horses line up for this race.  Musketier [GER] (Solis / Attfield) appears to have the edge with the highest (four-way tie) last out speed number, a three race progression, and three robust workouts.  Telling (Coa / Hobby) looks ready with the second highest last out speed number, a two race progression, and one athletic workout.  The magnificent Presious Passion (Trujillo / Hartmann) will lead the pack and should hold on for a piece of the purse with a couple of decent last out speed numbers, a three race progression, and two stamina inducing workouts.  Free Fighter (Marquez / Block) is well spotted for this contest with a decent last out speed number, a two race progression, and the best workout tab of the group.  Let's play Calder Race Course.

Dutrow) will be in the hunt with a decent last out speed number over Turf and four aggressive workouts.  Comma To The Top (Nakatani / Miller) will be the speed of the race attempting to hold on for a major piece of the purse pie sharing the third highest last out speed number and three swift workouts.  This race promises to be the most exciting of the horse racing weekend.  Let's play Hollywood Park.
