Friday AP Turf

A gorgeous Friday for a splendid Turf race at beautiful Arlington Park.

Arlington Park Race 8 {1 mile~TURF~3 year old Up~Claiming}
A nice full field of eleven will compete in this Turf mile.  This race comes up a little short on speed which could be pick-pocketed on the front end similar to Little Mike's outstanding performance in the Arlington MILLION.  Though this one is a shorter in distance the old adage applies, "pace makes the race".

#3 Our Noble Heart (Graham / Byrne) is back to a route after some dissappointing sprint efforts.  He holds the highest speed number at the distance with a 100% in the money over two races.  In those efforts he motored on the front end.  He has put in two efficient workouts.
$2 SHOW.

#9 Kid Chic (Homeister / Janks) looks to be forwardly placed with the third highest last out speed number, a two race progression, and two stout workouts.  This gelding could make a good effort on the class drop.
$2 SHOW.

Other Wagering Interests

#4 Esoteric (Perez / Catalano) should track the pace with the second highest last out speed number coming off a longer route, a five race progression, and three robust peaking workouts.

#7 Petak Mountain (Albarado / Proctor) is coming off a longer route with the highest last out speed number, is holding a three race progression, and has put in three solid workouts.  Should there be enough pace watch him come from out of the clouds.
