Saratoga Turf Thursday

We are looking at another pleasant horse racing weekend.  On this Thursday we go to the Saratoga Turf.

Saratoga Race 8 {1 mile~TURF~3 year old Up~fillies/mares~Allowance}
A very good field of eight ladies will go to the grass in this allowance feature.  The forwardly placed will lead the way with speedy and pressing attacks.  Another three entrants will trail hoping to give one solid run to catch the leaders.  Any number of these could eek out the win.  It should be a nice race.

#8 Pianist (Castellano / C. Brown) should be able to press for the win with the highest (tie) last out speed number, a three race progression, and two solid workouts.  She will be making her third start of the form cycle and should peak accordingly.
$1 WIN / $1 SHOW.

#5 Antonia Autumn (Dominguez / Clement) will challenge with a mighty closing effort.  She holds the second highest last out speed number, is running a two race progression, and has put in three efficient workouts.
$1 PLACE / $1 SHOW.

#4 Raise the Flag (J. Velazquez / McGaughey) will also track and close for a fine effort.  She holds the third highest last out speed number, a five race progression, and two robust workouts.
$1 SHOW.

Another Wagering Interest

#1 Kitty Wine (Lezcano / Kenneally) should be in the hunt sharing the highest last out speed number, a two race progression, and two athletic workouts.  She should share the chief pressing duties and could fly down the lane.

10 CENT Superfecta

#8 Pianist, #5 Antonia Autumn / #8, #5 / #4 Raise the Flag, #1 Kitty Wine / #4, #1.

Last Superfecta Sunday (8/19) Results
Del Mar R6.  Rancho Bernardo--G3.  We missed the 10 CENT Superfecta Box by one wagering interest.  Superfecta went 2-7-1-3.
Our Bronze horseshoe selection, Sugarinthemorning, finished 2nd for show money of $2.60.
Bankroll gets skinned a bit to $28.45.
