Saratoga Thursday Turf

To open up our horse racing weekend we go to the turf at the beautiful "Spa".

Saratoga Race 10 {Westpoint~1 1/16 mile~inner TURF~3 year old Up~NY~Stakes}
A very nice group of eight New York bred will battle on the Turf.  There is plenty of speed in here to set up the race for those coming from off the pace.  It should be an exciting race.  We will wager small today to keep within the budget.  Stakes Saturday will be preserved for the Arlington Million at Arlington Park, where there will be a fantastic undercard.

#8 Street Game (Dominguez / Serpe) looks very strong with the highest (3-way tie) last out speed number, a three race progression, and three superior, peaking workouts.  This Street Cry colt will be coming swiftly from off the pace.
$1 PLACE / $1 SHOW.

Other Wagering Interests

#7 Compliance Officer (Castellano / B. Brown) should be the favorite sharing the highest last out speed number and putting in three stellar workouts.  He does have the highest speed number at the distance.  This guy will be in the battle with those coming from off the pace.

#3 Abilio (A. Garcia / Rice) may the speedster that stays on for a piece of the purse pie.  He also shares the highest last out speed number, holds a two race progression, and has put in a stable workout.  He looks ready to rumble.

#5 Lubash (Lezcano / Clement) is another speedy presser type that could stay on with the second highest last out speed number and two credible workouts.  He looks ready to take another step forward with this race.

10 CENT Superfecta

#7 Compliance Officer, #8 Street Game / #7, #8 / #3 Abilio, #5 Lubash / #3, #5.

Last Superfecta Sunday (8/12) Results
Saratoga R8.  Allowance.  Only two of our selections appeared among the Superfecta four.  Superfecta went 9-1-6-5.  Our bronze horseshoe runner, Bourbonstreetgirl, finished 10th (last).
Bankroll plummets to $2.60.
