Fairplex Friday

"LA's not my kind of town"..., but Fairplex does bring some interesting horse racing.

Fairplex Race 9 {PD Shepherd~7 furlongs~2 year old~fillies~Stakes}
A nice group of ten youngsters will make the start in this stakes sprint.  The race comes up nicely balanced with all running styles represented.  It appears that this one could be any gals race.

#10 Hyena (Krigger / P. Miller) could surprise with the third highest (3-way tie) last out speed number and four superb peaking workouts.  She could track the leaders ready to sprint quickly in the stretch.
$2 SHOW.

#8 Renee's Titan (Hernandez / Mora) should do well coming out of two graded stakes.  She holds the second highest last out speed number as well as the second best overall speed number.  She has the tactical speed to stay in it from the start.
$2 SHOW.

Other Wagering Interests

#4 Gloryandprayer (Guce / Knapp) looks ready to go to the next level sharing the third highest last out speed number, working a two race progression, and putting in two athletic, peaking workouts.  She could track the pace and shoot on through.

#3 Fightin Mean Mad (Pedroza / Bonde) should show speed from the outset.  She holds the highest last out speed number in her only race, and has put in three speedy workouts.  This gal has the potential to wire the field.
