Hoosier Thursday

For the start of our horse racing weekend we take a look at a tidy little race in the heart of Indiana.

Hoosier Park Race 5 {1 mile~3 year old Up~IN~Allowance}
A good group of ten will go to the start for this Indiana allowance race.  Very little speed will be an advantage for those close to the pace.  A nice race for the opening of our horse racing weekend.

#6 Flashy Kid (Cedeno / Abner) has a very slight edge with the second highest last out speed number at a longer route and one solid workout.  This guy has done well at Hoosier when tracking the pace.
$2 SHOW.

#3 He's Got the Facts (Prescott / Granitz) will challenge with the highest last out speed number, a five race progression, and one modest workout.  This gelding could wire the field as a speedster.
$2 SHOW.

Other Wagering Interests

#9 Sunday Pursuit (Bracho / Davis) should be in the mix with the fourth highest (tie) last out speed number at a longer route and three robust, peaking workouts. He should track the pace.

#4 Meteor's Legacy (Turner / Duran) could surprise with the third highest (tie) last out speed number at a longer route, a two race progression, and one peaking workout.  With a decent pace, he could track and close well.

10 CENT Superfecta

#6 Flashy Kid / #3 He's Got The Facts / #9 Sunday Pursuit / #4 Meteor's Legacy.

Last Superfecta Sunday's (9/2) Results
Saratoga R9.  Saranac--G3.  We misfired on our 10 CENT Superfecta box only capturing one of the four wagering interests.  Superfecta went 3-10-1-4.
Our bronze horseshoe runner, Quick Wit, finished 8th.
Bankroll takes a hit and falls to $60.61.
