Thursday Evening Six Furlong

We open up our horse racing weekend with a Thursday evening six furlong race.

Penn National Race 5 {6 furlongs~3 year old Up~Allowance}
A good field of nine will make it to the gate for this closely matched dirt sprint.  A large contingent of forwardly placed racers promise to make a swift pace.

#1A Itsnottheright (Centeno / Ness) looks like the horse to beat with the highest last out speed number and a two race progression.  He also holds the second highest speed number at the distance.  Additionally, this guy is 100% in the money in an eight race career.
$2 SHOW.

#3 Cortado (Cora / Levine) is a worthy challenger with the fourth highest (tie) last out speed number.  He also holds the highest speed number at the distance as well as the highest speed number at the Penn National track.
$2 SHOW.

Other Wagering Interests

#8 Believe It's True (Otero / Salvaggio) looks to be in the hunt with the third highest last out speed number, a two race progression, and one peaking workout.  This will be his first race over the Penn National track, but expect him to be forwardly placed.

#5 Grand MacHo (Rispoli / Sinnefia) could be in the mix with sharing the fourth highest last out speed number, working a two race progression, and one solid workout.  He also shares the second highest speed number at the distance.
