Friday Racing at the Big "A"

Thank goodness for Friday.  Today we look at a nice stakes race at the Big "A".

Aqueduct Race 3 {Mr. Nasty Stakes~7 furlongs~3 year olds}
A modest field of seven will go to the gate for this stakes sprint.  A goodly number of the entrants will be forwardly placed battling for the win.  A good race should unfold.

#4 Sage Valley (Dominguez / Rodriguez) has the tactical speed to stay close and go swiftly through the stretch.  He shows the highest last out speed number, a five race progression, and two decent workouts.  He could be the one to beat.
$1 WIN / $1 SHOW.

#7 Overdriven (J. Velazquez / Pletcher) will challenge coming off a ninety day layoff.  He holds the third highest last out speed number and has put in four sensational workouts.  This guy is another that can stay close and unleash his speed in the stretch.
$1 PLACE / $1 SHOW.

#5 Wild Target (Lezcano / Kenneally) should be in the mix with the second highest last out speed number, a four race progression, and one solid workout.  He could hold back and track the pace waiting for an opening to drive on through.
$1 SHOW.

Another Wagering Interest

#6 Raging Daoust (Santiago / Ryerson) could also be in the hunt with the fourth highest last out speed number and one modest workout.  He should be forwardly placed ready to make his move.

#4 Sage Valley / #7 Overdriven / #5 Wild Target / #6 Raging Daoust.
