Thursday Turfday at Hollywood Park

Opening up our horse racing weekend we take a look at a nice little Turf race at Hollywood Park.

Betfair Hollywood Park Race 2 {1 1/4 mile~TURF~3 year old Up~fillies/mares~Allowance Optional Claiming}
A small field of six will go to the grass.  The majority in this race appear to be closing types which leaves the race for the forwardly placed to do well.

#3 Quaintly (Leparoux / Biancone) looks tough with the second highest last out speed number and a peaking workout.  She holds the highest speed number at the distance and has the ability to stay close to the pace.
$2 SHOW.

#4 Glowing Spirit [BRZ] (Maldonado / Avila) will challenge with her front running duties.  She holds the highest last out speed number and has put in two endurance building workouts.  This Brazilian bred could wire the field.
$2 SHOW.

Other Wagering Interests

#2 Salez [IRE] (Quinonez / Callaghan) will be a contender coming off a year plus layoff.  She ran well in Europe and will now be making her first North American start with four quality workouts under her belt.

#6 Remarkable Moon (Gomez / Gallagher) should be in the hunt with the third highest last out speed number, a three race progression, and three hearty workouts.  She should be closing in the stretch.

10 CENT Superfecta

#3 Quaintly, #4 Glowing Spirit [BRZ] / #3, #4 / #2 Salez [IRE], #6 Remarkable Moon / #2, #6.

Last Superfecta Sunday (11/25) Results
Betfair Hollywood Park R5.  Matriarch--G1.  We captured only two of the four 10 CENT Superfecta box runners.  Superfecta went 4-1-7-8.  Our Bronze Horseshoe runner, Future Generation [IRE], finished 4th.
Bankroll tumbles to $2.16.  We will supplement with $10.00 for this horse racing weekend's fun.
