Superfecta Sunday in Tinsel Town

Concluding our abbreviated horse racing weekend with a terrific Turf mile at Hollywood Park, we will try to cobble together a winning 10 CENT Superfecta box ticket.

Betfair Hollywood Park Race 5 {Matriarch~G1~1 mile~TURF~3 year old Up~fillies/mares~Stakes}
A super high quality field of eight will prance onto the grass in this annual race.  It comes up equally divided between the forwardly placed and those coming from off the pace.  All but two in here have had a short freshening before heading back to competition.  It will be an exciting race.

#2 Emulous [GB] (Smullen / Weld) could go off as the favorite with a superb last out race in Ireland.  She is sporting a two race progression and has put in one quality workout.  This is her distance as she is 85% in the money in the Turf mile.  Clearly the one to beat.

#5 Dayatthespa (Castellano / C. Brown) will challenge with the third highest last out speed number, a four race progression, and four robust peaking workouts.  She should be forwarly placed ready to strike at the top of the stretch.

#8 Future Generation [IRE] (Dominguez / Clement) should be in contention with the second highest last out speed number, a two race progression, and one efficient workout.  She should stay close ready to pounce.  She has three wins at six starts at this distance.  This Irish bred is our bronze horseshoe selection for this Superfecta Sunday.
$2 SHOW.

#1 Tiz Flirtatious (Bejarano / M. Jones) should be a contender with the fourth highest last out speed number, a two race progression, and three hearty workouts.  She is 100% in the money in her five race career.  Look for her to stride from off the pace.

10 CENT Superfecta Box ($2.40)

#2 Emulous [GB]  +  #5 Dayatthespa  +  #8 Future Generation [IRE]  +  #1 Tiz Flirtatious.
