Friday Downhill Turf

We take a peek at a terrific allowance feature in sunny Southern California on this last Friday of the year.

Santa Anita Race 2 {6 1/2 furlongs~downhill TURF~3 year old Up~fillies/mares~Allowance}
A great field of twelve gals will make the downhill journey on the grass.  A good amount of speed virtually guarantees a strong pace.  Most in here have taken a decent layoff between races.  It should be a dandy of a downhill sprint.

#9 Lemon Hero (Bejarano / Burton) has a slight edge with the fourth highest (3-way tie) last out speed number, a four race progression, and three stout peaking workouts.  She has a solid career in the money record and holds a 100% in the money record at this distance.  A tracking running style could be to her benefit.
$2 SHOW.

#13 Distant Image (Talamo / Moger) will challenge sharing the fourth highest last out speed number and working a four race progression,   She should be forwardly placed ready for an opening to dig in and scoot through the stretch.
$2 SHOW.

#11 Indecise (Gomez / Mandella) should be ready to compete with a couple of decent last out speed numbers, a two race progression, and three superb workouts.  She also holds a 100% in the money record at the distance in two tries.  He tracking style should be to her benefit in this speedy race.
$2 SHOW.

Other Wagering Interests

#5 Belle De Lune [FR] (Leparoux / Proctor) should contend with a couple of decent last out speed numbers over routes, a two race progression, and five sesational, peaking workouts.  This lady is ready to cover the ground in tracking style.  She could surprise the whole group.

#6 Eileen's Dream (M. Garcia / Sadler) should be in the mix sharing the fourth highest last out speed number, a two race progression, and three robust, peaking workouts.  She will part of the front end speed and could hold on for a piece of the purse pie.

10 CENT Superfecta

#9 Lemon Hero / #13 Distant Image / #11 Indecise / #5 Belle De Lune [FR], #6 Eileen's Dream.
