Stakes Saturday at Hollywood Park

With winter racing opening up at the warm, sunny climates, there should be some very good racing forthcoming.  For today's Stakes Saturday races we land at Hollywood Park.  We take a look at a good Stakes race and a stakes caliber allowance race.

Betfair Hollywood Park Race 4 {Native Diver~G3~1 1/8 mile~3 year old Up~Stakes}
A short field of five will tromp onto the Hollywood cushion track.  Despite the small field, this one should still be an exciting race.  There is enough speed to keep it interesting.

#4 Nonios (Pedroza / Hollendorfer) could be the surprise with the second highest last out speed number at a longer route and three strengthening workouts.  He loves the surface and the distance.  It could be a big one for him.
$2 SHOW.

#1 Game On Dude (Smith / Baffert) will most assuredly be the favorite. However, he will offer little value.  He holds the second highest (tie) last out speed number at a longer route and three superb peaking workouts.  He could wire the field.
No Value.

#2 Richard's Kid (Bejarano / O'Neill) will be a contender with the highest last out speed number at a longer route, a two race progression, and one stout workout.  With the right proper pace he could come flying in the stretch.
$2 SHOW.

10 CENT Superfecta
NONE offered in this race due to the small field.

Betfair Hollywood Park Race 8 {1 1/16 mile~3 year old Up~Allowance}
An equally matched field of eight steps out in this allowance feature.  Plenty of speed may set this one up for a horse coming from off the pace.  Any one of these fellas could win this route.  It will be a very good race.

#6 Fly Lexis Fly (Bejarano / Drysdale) may have a minute edge with the third highest (tie) last out speed number over a longer route, a three race progression, and four athletic workouts.  This horse could track a speedy pace and close well in the stretch.
$2 SHOW.

#3 Golden Itiz (Talamo / Ellis) will challenge with the fourth highest last out speed number, a two race progression, and three hearty workouts.  This guy can improve nicely in his second start of the year.  Another that can track the pace and then swoop down in the stretch.
$2 SHOW.

#5 Guidopanzini (T. Baze / Miller) should be in the mix with the highest (tie) last out speed number, a three race progression, and four terrific peaking workouts.  He can be expected to be forwardly placed ready to get first jump.
$2 SHOW.

Another Wagering Interest

#4 Regulus (Gryder / Harty) will be in the hunt with the second highest last out speed number, a four race progression, and four supreme workouts.  He is another that should be forwardly placed ready to romp through the turn.

10 CENT Superfecta

#6 Fly Lexis Fly, #3 Golden Itiz / #6, #3 / #5 Guidopanzini, #4 Regulus / #5, #4.
