Turf Sprint in Hollywood

To open up our horse racing weekend we turn to a nice little Turf sprint in sunny California.

A good group of eight will trot to the gate for this allowance feature.  A few have not yet ventured on to turf, but have been over synthetic which is a nice transitional surface to the grass.  The field is equally divided among the various running styles.  All appear equal in capability as well. Should be a very good Turf sprint.

#1 Vindicative Ghost (Mojica / Greenman) is coming off a ninety day layoff, but has run well over the green.  She holds the second highest last out speed number, a four race progression, and three robust workouts.  She looks to be forwardly placed ready to move.
$2 SHOW.

#3 Oscillator (Hernandez / Periban) will challenge with the third highest last out speed number, a three race progression, and three superb peaking workouts.  She should be tracking the pace ready to pounce in the stretch.

Other Wagering Interests

#8 Scary Ride (T. Baze / Hollendorfer) will be making her second career start with the highest last out speed number and three diligent workouts.  This gal will show speed and may wire the field.

#2 Missdang Sally (Talamo / Sherman) will contend with the fourth highest last out speed number at a bit longer sprint, a three race progression, and one solid workout.  She can be expected to watch and wait in mid-pack.
