Stakes Saturday Turf

On this Stakes Saturday we take a look at a nice Turf race down in good old New Orleans.

Fair Grounds Race 8 {Bayou Handicap~1 1/16~TURF~4 year old~fillies/mares~Stakes}
A rally good group of nine will take to the grass in this stakes race.  There is plenty of speed to keep things humming.  All of these gals have reasonably close speed numbers over the grass.  This is just one of many great stakes races happening this Saturday.

#1 Class Included (Bridgmohan / Faucheux) should get the job done with the third highest speed number, a three race progression, and one stout workout.  She has done well over the surface and at the Fair Grounds course.  This daughter of Include should be tracking close to the pace ready to strike going into the stretch.
$1 WIN / $2 PLACE / $3 SHOW.

#3 Starstruck [IRE] (Graham / L. Jones) should challenge with the fourth highest last out speed number and two superb workouts.  She matches up well with this field, holding the fourth highest (tie) speed number over the Fair Grounds course.  As a daughter of the great Irish stud, Gallileo [IRE], she should be tracking and closing magnificently.
$1 PLACE / $2 SHOW.

#9 Eden Prairie (Napravnik / Pessin) will contend with the highest last out speed number, a six race progression, and two robust workouts.  She should be forwardly placed ready to battle the other speedsters.  A daughter of Mizzen Mast, she holds the highest speed number over the Fairgrounds course all the while securing three victories from four starts over the same.
$1 SHOW.

Another Wagering Interest

#5 Twirl [IRE] (Albarado / J. Carroll) should be in the mix sharing the fourth highest last out speed number, a three race progression, and three determined workouts.  She too is a daughter of Gallileo [IRE] and should be tracking the pace well.
