Superfecta Sunday in Erie

On this Superfecta Sunday we take a look at a premiere synthetic mile in hard knocking Erie, Pennsylvania.

Presque Isle Downs {Winward Stakes~1 mile~3 year old Up~fillies/mares~Stakes}
A great group of eleven gals will take to the Tapeta surface in this featured stakes race.  There is plenty of speed and forwardly placed types to maintain a swift pace.  Most in here have done very well over the Presque Isle synthetic surface.  With a large field of equally talented horses, it should be a challenge to wrap together a winning 10 CENT Superfecta box ticket.

#7 Awesome Flower (Allen / Maker) should be the deserved favorite with the highest last out speed number at a longer route and two dynamite workouts.  She has grabbed a win on the surface earning the highest speed number over it.  This gal has the tactical speed to stay with the leaders and swoop into the stretch for the victory.

#5 Absolute Crackers [IRE] (McCarthy / Motion) will challenge with the second highest last out speed number and a two race progression.  She to has earned a win over this surface scoring the second highest speed number at such.  This gal will be tracking the pace closely ready to strike.

#11 Monster Sleeping (J. Garcia / Capuano) could be sneaky good with the fourth highest last out speed number, a two race progression, and one monster workout.  She has already scored two victories at the distance and is 100% in the money over the tapeta in six starts.  This lass is our Bronze Horseshoe selection.
$2 SHOW.

#10 Primed for Passion (Pino / Sheppard) should contend valiantly with the third highest (tie) last out speed number, a two race progression, and three stellar workouts.  She too is 100% in the money at Presque Isle from six starts.  A stunning pace will induce her glorious closing kick.

10 CENT Superfecta Box ($2.40)

#7 Awesome Flower  +  #5 Absolute Crackers [IRE]  +  #11 Monster Sleeping  +  #10 Primed for Passion.
