Horse Racing Weekend to Start in Maryland

We start our horse racing weekend in Maryland peering at a speedy little sprint race.

Laurel Park Race 6 {5 1/2 furlongs~3 year old Up~Optional Claiming}
A small, but quality field of six will make their start in this nifty sprint. There is plenty of speed signed in and it should be a fast pace. The speed figs for each of these lads are appear to be pretty close. It should be a grand race.

#3 Frontier Warrior (Acosta / Cartapena) is seeking five wins in a row and he might get it with the second highest last out speed number and a stellar record of 85% in the money record at the distance from seven starts.

#8 Rolling Yona (Serpa / Garcia) will challenge with the highest last out speed number, a three race progression, and one sound workout. He has the tactical speed to sit off the pace and dash into the stretch.

#4 Majestic Hussar (X. Perez / Campbell) should contend with a tremendous in the money record of 100% at the distance from three starts at same. He is coming off a tough performance in a six furlong sprint, last out. His prior outing stacks up nicely against these.
He is worthy of a show wager.
$2 SHOW.

Rest of the Field

#7 Sneaking Uponyou (McCarthy / Ness) should be in the mix based on holding the highest speed number at this distance.  #2 Take Down Two (Karamanos / Bailes) as the sole off the pace runner should also be considered. #1A In Trouble (Ritvo / A. Dutrow) may need a race after a longer layoff, but he holds a victory at this distance in his only start at it.

10 CENT Superfecta
Remember, Laurel offers a Ten Cent Superfecta, but your total wager has to add up to at least one dollar.
