On to the Turf for Horse Racing Weekend

We start our horse racing weekend on the Turf in South Florida.

Gulfstream Park Race 9 {7 1/2 furlong~TURF~3 year old Up~fillies/mares~Allowance Optional Claiming}

A large field of eleven will hit the Florida green. There is enough speed to maintain a strong pace. Speed numbers are surprisingly close giving any on of these gals a chance to hit the winners circle. It should be a great Turf race in mid December.

#8 Comet Sixty Two (Castellano / C. Brown) has a very slight edge with the third highest last out speed number and two solid workouts. She is 60% in the money at this distance from five tries. With a heated pace, expect this gal to rally like a comet.
$1 WIN  /  $2 SHOW.

Other Wagering Interests

#6 Sequoia Princess (Jaramillo / Iadisernia) should challenge as she makes her second career start after a brief freshening. She won at first asking earning her the second highest last out speed number among this field. Taking up a tracking position, she should improve upon that first effort.

#2 Bibby (Bravo / Clement) appears to be in good form and may be asked to go from the gate opening. She holds a couple of decent last out speed numbers coupled with three tenacious workouts that include a couple of bullets. This gal should contend.

#10 Lady Zuzu (J. Velazquez / Mott) could go off as one of the clear favorites. She holds the highest last out speed number at a mile route and two superb workouts. This regally bred lady should be forwardly placed ready to romp.

10 CENT Superfecta

#8 Comet Sixty Two  /  #6 Sequoia Princess  /  #2 Bibby  /  #10 Lady Zuzu.

Last Superfecta Sunday (12/6) Results
