Stakes Saturday for the Claiming Crown

We look on one of the Claiming Crown races in Southern Florida for our Stakes Saturday.

Gulfstream Park Race 7 {Claiming Crown Glass Slipper~1 mile~3 year-old Up~fillies/mares~Stakes}

A soundly competitive group of twelve will go to the gate in this mucky mile race. There is plenty of speed and forwardly placed types to create a strong pace. Speed numbers are all very close making for very close race. It should be another exciting race on the Claiming Crown card.

#2 Primo Via (Vaz / Aristone) might have a slight edge with the highest last out speed number, a three race progression, and two superb workouts. She will be forwardly placed and should get a good trip over the track. A daughter of Candy Ride [ARG], she also holds the highest (tie) speed number at the distance.
$1 WIN  /  $2 PLACE  /  $3 SHOW.

#7 Moonshine Promise (Castellano / Walder) will challenge with a couple of good last out speed numbers finishing in the money in both. She has put in two stout workouts in the last thirty days. This daughter of Will He Shine should be tracking the pace ready for an opening to spurt through.
$1 PLACE  /  $2 SHOW.

#6 Aix En Provence (P. Lopez / Orseno) should contend with the second highest last out speed number and three stamina producing workouts. She is coming in from Laurel for this effort and appears to be in sharp form. This daughter of Rock Slide should be forwardly place seeking good position to strike.
$1 SHOW.

Another Wagering Interest

#5 My House (Centeno / Hernandez) should be in the mix from the gate opening with her early speed. She holds the third highest last out speed number, a two race progression, and three robust workouts. This daughter of Flower Alley is seeking her third win in a row.
