Horse Racing Weekend Begins in Hot Springs

Today we take a look at a nice route race down in Hot Springs, Arkansas.

Oaklawn Park Race 6 {1 1/16 mile~4 year-old Up~fillies/mares~Optional Claiming}

A great group of nine will hit the track in this afternoon feature. There is plenty of speed to turn up the pace. Speed numbers are fitfully close. It should be a fairly enjoyable race.

#9 Titanium (Osorio / Moquett) might have the edge with the second highest last out speed number, a three race progression, and one solid workout. This lass holds the second highest speed number at the distance and a 75% in the money record at same. She should be racking the pace ready to strike.
$2 WIN  /  $3 SHOW.

Other Wagering Interests

#8 Cowgirl in Love (Loveberry / Milligan) should challenge with the fourth highest last out speed number, a three race progression, and two superb workouts. She is coming off a modest layoff ready to compete. This gal could be forwardly placed seeking an opening into the stretch.

#4 Rose to Glory (Hill  / Von Hemel) should contend with the third highest last out speed number at  a shorter route, a six race progression, and two hearty workouts. This gal should track the pace closely ready to spring. She does hold the third highest speed number at the distance.

#6 Silent Ronin (Rocco / Scherer) should be in the mix with the third highest speed number at the distance, a couple of good last out speed numbers / performances and four supreme peaking workouts. She should be part of the front running crew.
