Furlong Friday at a Championship Meet

Opening its Championship, the bountiful Belmont Park, will feature a glorious sprint over the Turf. Our Fall Furlong Friday begins.

Belmont Park Race 8 {Christiecat~6 Furlongs~TURF~3 year-old~Fillies~Stakes}

A great field of nine exceptional Fillies will sprint on the green in this affair. There is speed o plenty in this one which should aid the trackers. Speed numbers are fairly close which should yield a highly competitive event. It should be a great opening feature for the Belmont meet.

#9 Adorable Miss (Castellano / Pletcher) might have the edge with the ramped up speed in this one. She holds the highest last out speed number at a route and three quality workouts. This gal is 100% in the money from four career starts. Rest and ready she is the one to beat.
$2 SHOW.

Other Wagering Interests

#6 Epping Forest (Rosario / Clement) should challenge with a couple of strong in the money performances last out. She holds the highest speed number at the distance and two solid workouts. This young lady loves the Belmont course and the distance.

#4 Rubilinda (J. Ortiz / C. Brown) will contend with the second highest last out speed number, a two race progression, and three sturdy workouts. She has a win over this distance in her only start at it. Lightly raced and in the money in both of her starts, she could blossom nicely.

#1 Smiling Causeway (Lynch / Delacour) should be the controlling speed with a couple of very favorable last out speed numbers and three mighty peaking workouts. She is another that is 100% in the money from four career starts. A wire job is quite possible.
