Superfecta Sunday along the Jersey Shore

On this Superfecta Sunday we take in a nice Stakes race down along the Jersey shore.

Monmouth Park Race 9 {Long Branch Stakes~1 1/16 mile~3 year-old~Stakes}

A small field of seven will hit the Jersey dirt in this annual contest. Smaller fields such as this rarely offer huge returns in our 10 CENT Superfecta plays. The pace should be fast and furious as not only are there some speedsters in the race, but there are a couple of sprinters stretching out.Two Triple Crown nominees join this field. Speed numbers are fairly close giving some parity to the race. Our task is to loop together a winning 10 CENT Superfecta box ticket. It should be a good race.

#6 Union's Destiny (Gallardo / Avila) should benefit from a hot pace as he tracks the pace. He holds the highest last out speed number at a longer route and three superb peaking workouts. This son of Union Rags is 60% in the money from five career starts. He is our Bronze Horseshoe selection.
$1 SHOW.

#7 The Right Path (Toledo / Duarte) will challenge with the second highest (3-way tie) last out speed number and one strong workout. This guy also holds the second highest speed number at the distance. A son of Quality Road, he is 75% in the money from four starts. He should be forwardly placed.

#1 Joevia (Juarez / Sacco) should go off as the favorite as he comes out of the grade two Wood Memorial and drops a bit in distance. He will be part of the speed scenario on or near the lead. This lad shares the second highest last out speed number and has put in two stamina inducing workouts. A son of Shanghai Bobby, he is also 75% in the money from four career starts.

#5 Regally Irish (Maragh / Motion) will contend with the third highest (tie) last out speed number and one solid workout. He has already won over the Monmouth track. This guy should be part of the pack of speedsters on the front end. A son of Regal Ransom, he is 72% in the money from seven career starts.
