A Southern Cali Superfecta Sunday

Summer Turf season is upon us. On this Superfecta Sunday we take a look at an excellent mile Turf race in Southern California.

A strong field of ten will hit the grass in this feature event. There is enough speed to keep the pace rolling nicely. These gals have speed figures that are exceptionally close. It could be anyone's race. Our task is to knit together a winning 10 CENT Superfecta box ticket.

#3 Persephone (Prat / Eurton) might have a slight edge coming into this with the second highest last out speed number and two powerful peaking workouts. She loves the distance and the Santa Anita Turf. A daughter of Real Solution, she should track the pace efficiently and quicken in the stretch. She is our Bronze Horseshoe selection.

#8 Miss Flawless [FR] (G. Franco / Miller) should challenge coming out of a grade three event with an acceptable speed number and putting in three superb peaking workouts. She has faced stronger in her native France and here, stateside. A daughter of Siyouni [FR], she should get the pace to blaze into the stretch.

#7 Seaside Dancer (M. Garcia / O'Neill) is coming off three consecutive wins and is clearly the one to beat. She holds the highest last out speed number and three stout peaking workouts. This gal should be part of the pace scenario on the front end. A daughter of Fed Biz, she is undefeated at this distance from two starts.

#9 Suprema (Desormeaux / Desormeaux) should contend as she continues to improve with each start. This gal has a couple of competitive last out speed numbers and three sound peaking workouts. A daughter of Strong Mandate she should be forwardly placed seeking good position for the stretch run.
