Going Long on Superfecta Sunday

Off we go to enjoy a marathon Turf contest in view of the San Gabriel's.

Santa Anita Park Race 8 {San Juan Capistrano~G3~1 3/4 mile~TURF~3 year-old Up~Graded Stakes}

A fine group of eight will jog uphill for the start of this annual closing feature. One gal will challenge the boys. Limited speed creates a European type race where this crew will have a significant quickening as they bound for home. None of these have traveled this distance. Speed figs are fairly similar making it anyone's race. Our task is to loop together a winning 10 CENT Superfecta box ticket.
It should be a terrific race as Santa Anita closes its season.

#6 Causeforcommotion (M. Franco / E. Kruljac) is the only mare in the race, but should relish this distance. She shares the second highest speed number over the Turf and fired off two peaking bullet workouts prepping for this race. A daughter of Americain, she should gallop close to the leader and spring into the stretch. She is our Bronze Horseshoe selection.
$2 SHOW.

#8 Oscar Dominguez (Prat / Baltas) should give a good account of himself with the third highest last out speed number and two superb workouts. This lad will be seeking his sixth career victory. A son of Zoffany [IRE], he should be part of the tracking crew ready for the quickening.

#4 Acclimate (M. Garcia / D'Amato) should be the pacesetter by default. This lad holds the fourth highest last out speed number and three robust workouts. He enjoys the Santa Anita turf course. A son of Acclamation, he has been in the money in his last two races.

#1 Mongolian Groom (Gutierrez / Ganbat) is principally a dirt runner, but has won over the Santa Anita Turf. He holds the highest last out speed number and two charged-up peaking workouts. A son of Hightail, he too will part of the trackers.

10 CENT Superfecta Box ($2.40)

#6 Causeforcommotion  +  #8 Oscar Dominguez  +  #4 Acclimate  +  #1 Mongolian Groom.
