A Turfy Superfecta Sunday along the Jersey Shore

As some of the premiere tracks near the end of their Spring season, there are still some exceptional Turf races as we move deeper into the Summer. On this Superfecta Sunday we take a look at a wonderful Turf race near the Jersey shore.

Monmouth Park Race 9 {Open Mind Stakes~1 1/16 mile~TURF~3 year-old~fillies~Stakes}

A beautiful group of nine fillies will gallop on the green in this featured Stakes race. There is enough speed and forwardly placed types to maintain an honest pace. Speed numbers are fairly close for a sure, competitive feel. All have terrific Turf pedigrees which will make it enjoyable to watch. Our task is to string together a winning 10 CENT Superfecta box ticket. It should be one of the smashing Turf races of the day.

#2 Valiance (Juarez / Pletcher) looks to achieve her third victory in a row during her short career. She holds the second highest last out speed number and two sound workouts. This gal has a strong affinity for the Turf and should show great improvement as she challenge this fine group of battle wary gals. A daughter of Tapit, this gal should be forwardly placed ready to strike. She is our Bronze Horseshoe selection.
$1 SHOW.

#9 Beautiful Lover (Bravo / C. Brown) could go off as the favorite as she has rattled off three successive victories. She holds the third highest (tie) last out speed number and three tried and true C. Brown workouts. She loves the Turf and this distance. A beautifully bred daughter of Arch, she will come a running in the closing strides of the race.

#8 La Feve [FR] (Lynch / Motion) should pose a mighty challenge with the fourth highest last out speed number and three superb workouts. She will make her first start over the Jersey Turf. This gal appears to in fine form coming off a modest freshening. A daughter of George Vancouver, she should track the pace closely ready to spring into the stretch.

#6 Karama (Carmouche / Pino) should be the controlling speed of the race and has the potential to don the ski mask and take it on the front end. She holds the highest last out speed number and two fine workouts. This gal loves the Turf and distance. A daughter of Kitten's Joy, she is 100% in the money from three career starts.
