Superfecta Sunday in South Florida

On this Superfecta Sunday we peer in on a low level claiming event down in Florida.

Gulfstream Park Race 5 {1 mile~3 year-old Up~Claiming}

A nice field of eight will strut to the gate in this low level claiming event. It comes up light on speed with a couple of forwardly placed entrants. Speed numbers are reasonably close among these winners of only one race. Our task is wrap up a winning 10 CENT Superfecta Box ticket. It should be a good race.

#1 Geonosis (L. Saez / Sano) is coming off a modest layoff and should fire fresh. He holds the highest last out speed number and four superb workouts. This lad is 60% in the money from ten career races. A son of Dialed In, he should be tracking the pace ready to strike.

#8 Dardanellos (M. Vasquez / Duco) holds the third highest speed number at the distance and has put in a decent workout in the last thirty days. He does love the Gulfstream track. this guy is 50% in the money from ten career starts. A son of Skipshot, he is another that should take up a tracking position ready to rumble. He is our Bronze Horseshoe, selection.
$1 SHOW.

#5 Red Fog (I Ortiz / Garaffalo) might go off as the favorite with the second highest last out speed number at a longer route. He holds the second highest speed number at the distance coupled with a 50% in the money record at same. A son of Brethren, he could attempt to wire this field as the speediest of the group.

#4 Dazzling Prose (A. Rodriguez / Slivka) should contend with the fourth highest pseed number at the distance all the while securing a 52% in the money record at same. He will need some pace to close into. A son of Spellbinder, he has a 50% in the money record from thirty career starts.

10 CENT Superfecta Box ($2.40)

#1 Geonosis  +  #8 Dardanellos  +  #5 Red Fog  +  #4 Dazzling Prose.
