Superfecta Sunday near the San Gabriels

On this Superfecta Sunday we look in on that famous track with the San Gabriel Mountains as a backdrop. We take a shot at a splendid mile Turf race.

Santa Anita Park Race 8 {1 mile~TURF~3 year-old Up~Optional Claiming}

A smashing group of nine will journey onto the Turf in this featured race. There is some speed and forwardly placed types to push the pace. Speed numbers are very, very close making it a extremely competitive race. Our task is to incubate a winning 10 CENT Superfecta Box ticket. It should be a fantastic race.

#6 Border Town (Prat / Mandella) looks like her might have the advantage with the second highest last out speed number at  a longer route and five superlative peaking workouts. This guy loves the surface, distance, and Santa Anita course. A son of War Front, he will be tracking the pace ready to strike. He is our Bronze Horseshoe selection.
$2 SHOW.

#8 Mountain Spirit (Rispoli / Mullins) should challenge with the third highest last out speed number at a longer route and four hearty workouts. He is a consistent sort that should show improvement moving forward. A son of Point of Entry, he is another that should be tracking the pace.

#2 Southern King (I Ortiz / Miller) should contend with  a couple of decent last out speed numbers and three robust peaking workouts. This guy is yet another that will be tracking the pace. A son of Animal Kingdom, he is 61% in the money from thirteen starts.

#1 Madman (M. Smith / Baltas) could go off as the favorite with the highest last out speed number and four strong workouts. He is another that loves the surface, distance, and course. A son of Violence, he could be forwardly placed for an advantageous positon turning into the stretch.
