Superfecta Sunday at Belmont Park

Happy Father's Day to all the Sires!

On this special day we take a gander at a fabulous Belmont Park Turf sprint.  Our mission is to plot a winning 10 CENT Superfecta box ticket.

Belmont Park Race 8 {6 furlongs~TURF~3 year old Up~NY~Allowance}
A bountiful field of twelve will roll onto the green in this New York bred TURF sprint.  The vast majority in this race are coming off layoffs of various lengths.  There will be speed as half the field have demonstated front end flashiness.  Let's give this one a whirl.

#2 Power Blast (Desormeaux / Rice) is coming off a freshening with the third highest last out speed number at a longer sprint and has put in three superb peaking workouts.  This gelding holds the highest speed at six furlongs featuring a 100% in the money record at said distance.  He should track the pace and launch into the stretch.

#5 Junior Officer (Castro / Weaver) will challenge with the second highest last out speed number at a longer sprint, a three race progression, and two stout workouts.  He should be right behind the leaders ready to strike.

#9 Next Question (Napravnik / Trombetta) is coming off a year long layoff, but appears ready to battle these.  Prior to the layoff he posted the highest last out speed number while holding a two race progression.  This colt has worked fearlessly putting together four superior peaking workouts that include three bullets.  He is our Bronze horseshoe runner.
$4 SHOW.

#3 Hooligan's Delight (I. Ortiz / Barbara) looks ready to rumble coming off an extended layoff.  He holds the fourth highest (tie) last out speed number and has put in two hardy workouts.  This gelded son of Good and Tough has enough tactical speed to stay close and swoop into the stretch.

10 CENT Superfecta Box ($2.40)

#2 Power Blast  +  #5 Junior Officer  +  #9 Next Question  +  #3 Hooligan's Delight.
