Thursday Turf at Saratoga

Our horse racing weekend begins with a good Turf race at the "Spa".

Saratoga Race 9 {1 mile~TURF~3 year old Up~fillies/mares~Optional Claiming}
A solid field of ten fillies/mares will make their way onto the grass course for this Saratoga mile.  Some sufficient speed will keep the pace honest.  All in this one appear to be close in ability.  Should be a superb race.

#2 Scenario Analysis (Lezcano / C. Brown) has a slight edge with the second highest last out speed number, a four race progression, and three disciplined workouts.  She relishes this mile distance over the Turf.
$1 WIN / $1 SHOW.

#9 First Whippoorwill (Prado / Motion) could surprise with a couple of decent last out speed numbers, a five race progression, and three stellar workouts.  She should sit right off the leaders ready to go.
$1 PLACE / $1 SHOW.

#1 Downtown Hottie (Castellano / A. Dutrow) looks ready to run a good race with the fourth highest (tie) last out speed number and three conditioning workouts.  She could track the pace and rush the stretch.  An added bonus would be if her coupled entrant, #1A Shakeira, draws in as an also eligible.
$1 SHOW.

Other Wagering Interests

#6 Arsenal (C. Velasquez / Lerman) should be in the mix with a couple of decent last out speed numbers including a win over the grass at this distance.  She holds a two race progression and has put in four tenacious peaking workouts; the best workout tab of the group.

#10 Ginny's Classic (Dominguez / Hushion) will be in the hunt showing speed as a front runner.  She holds the highest last out speed number, a three race progression, and one solid workout.  It is possible she could wire the field.

10 CENT Superfecta

#2 Scenario Analysis / #9 First Whippoorwill / #1 Downtown Hottie / #6 Arsenal, #10 Ginny's Classic.

Last Superfecta Sunday (7/22) Results
Del Mar R8.  San Clemente--G2.  Capturing only three of the four spots in our 10 CENT Superfecta box, we failed to menace, as they say.  Superfecta went 4-1-8-5.
Our Bronze Horseshoe runner, Byranna [GB], finished fourth, off the board.
Bankroll plummets to $6.80.
